The deadline to register your reserved second level .nz Domain Name(s) is 1.00pm on 30 March 2017. If your domain isn’t registered and paid for before then, then the domain will be released back into the public pool, allowing anyone to register it.
Please note that to register a reserved domain name, you will need to have the UDAI for the qualifying .nz domain. Instructions for generating a UDAI code can be found here http://www.knowledgebase.loungenetwork.co.nz/index.php?op=view&t=291 . If you need assistance with registering your new reserved NZ domain name with us, please contact us.
If you do not wish to register your reserved NZ domain name, then you do not need to do anything. Any reserved NZ Domain Names that have not been registered by the deadline will be automatically released into the pool of publicly available domain names. However please note that once released into the public pool, there is the risk that you may lose the ability to register that domain in the future.
The Lounge Network are one of NZ longest established domain name providers, operating since 2001. We are also 100% NZ owned, which is becoming more and more rare in the current Web Hosting and NZ Domain name market. If you have your domains registered with another company, and would prefer to use a 100% NZ owned provider, with real NZ based support, you can transfer your NZ domains for free, inside our NZ Domain Name manager at www.domains.loungenetwork.co.nz. All existing applied domain name credit is transferred with your domain name, so you don’t lose any of your registration period. We can help you transfer you .NZ domains names across to us for free if you need help, by contacting us.
